park creek, horsham PA, big bass

my brother dave caught a real nice bass while fishing park creek in Horsham PA, it was our first time there and it was very surprising. This picture was shot with my gopro hero 2

I fished that creek a few times as a kid where it runs next to the pond in the park. I never caught a thing and assumed it was devoid of life. Guess I was wrong!

I think he caught it on a senko worm but yeah I also caught a couple nice bass from 12-16 inches and a smallmouth bass too but this is not the section that runs through kohler park

I used to fish tribs off of the Perkiomen that where loaded with SMBs. There is a lot of fishing in Montgomery County if you spend a little time exploring.
