10' 4wt Orvis Recon Rod

Battenkill Disk II Reel lined with backing and Cortland Line

Fished less than a dozen times, I have another 10' 4wt outfit, and in excellent condition over $700 new asking $500 or best offer.

I am having trouble resizing the pictures but email me and I will send them to you.

Hey whheff =

What's your opinion of the 10 ft. 4 wt. Orvis Recon? Give us a whheff review.

What is your other 10 ft. 4 wt. rod that you'll be keeping instead of the Recon, and why?

I like the rod a lot. It is a little stiffer in the butt and great for fighting fish. Well made and easy to cast. If I didn't have another rod like this I would keep it.
I won this rod at a TU event so I didn't have a choice on the weight. I would love this rod in a 3wt then it would be a keeper for sure.
My other rod is a Cabela's CZN 10' 4wt. Also a nice rod but a little softer in the butt section. I have had it for 6 or 7 years.
That is the difference between the 2 rods.

Thanks alot whheff. Good info.

I keep thinking I would like to experience casting the Recon rods.
