Definitely! I like the tea and a good book route too. That is what I did today. Rolled over at 5 AM and went back to sleep....

I used to nymph a lot. I rarely nymph these days. I've hit the point where I believe we all know what will catch fish. I want to be able to make a fish fall for what I am presenting. Anyone can get a girl with money. But can you charm one?

I'd rather use money. It's faster and leaves more time for fishing.

I like it all, really. The guy that got me into fly fishing swung wet flies and dry fly fished. A couple years into fly fishing I started using bobbers for nymph fishing. If I see fish rising I’ll put on a dry dropper rig. I rarely just fish a dry alone. I don’t get as much time to fish as when I was younger. Any method is relaxing to me. We all have our own happiness and that is what it is all about when fishing. But I love hearing my reel scream!

When I first started FF, all I cared about was swinging streamers.

The introduction to my first Spring Creek, and desire to " figure it out" led to my commitment to develop my Nymphing skills.

Def a good decision.

And, being I fish in the winter....same applies to learning to fish midges...
nothing sexy...but if u r needing some tugs in the winter ...
