I am relatively new to fly fishing, but absolutely enjoy fishing for wild trout. I honestly think I'm fairly good and know a great deal about fly fishing already in the short time that I've been doing it. Obviously I still have so much to learn though.

Anyway, I was kind of hoping some people on here can PM me and we could share some information regarding wild trout locations in the north western part of the state. I said I'm new, but there's one stream I've fished that I've seen people say that they never do good on, but I've picked it apart 2 times and did great. Even caught one of the bigger fish that's probably in the stream.

I'd like to talk to anyone in a PM though so that the information isn't just out there for everyone to see (the people who don't care to conserve these waters).

TLDR; Share info on wild trout locations in north west PA through a PM

How far northwest are you talking?

Well I was kind of referring to the Oil City area, but anywhere really.

I do a lot of fishing a little farther east in ANF, but shoot me a PM if you're interested.

Cheers

Just fish all the smaller streams around you. That area is actually loaded with wild trout.
