My advice is to not fish the Loyalsock. It's mostly dependent on stocked trout and gets quite warm in the summer. I doubt there are many trout in there right now, unless they do a fall stocking.
Most of the tribs in the area have wild trout. These streams are small, but the trout are there. And I don't think they are there (or at least not very many) in the Sock.
I've fished some big beautiful pools on the Sock near World's End, with very little results. Maybe someone else who is a regular there knows better, but my experience was that it's nice to look at, but doesn't have many trout.
