New vise

Got a new Regal vise with stainless steel grips. This one ought to outlast me. : )

I'm thinking about buying new stainless steel grips for my old Regal. Hoping my son and granddaughter will start fly fishing and tying.

If that was a Christmas present, you made out very well IMO.

I've been using a regal for quite awhile now. And honestly have no reason to get anything else.

Mine has the regular midge jaws, but I use it to tie everything.
I guess the stainless are better.
But I've had no problems with mine whatsoever

I assume "grips" are jaws?

I don't own a Regal, but they are really nice!!

The stainless jaws are the way to go. The standard jaws are not fine enough to tie smaller flies.
