new rod builds?

I've got 2 boo projects to finish from last winter. One is a 8.5 South Bend refinish. The other is a beautiful 10' rod that doesn't fish well. I am making an additional handle section to fish it as a 7' rod.

I just finished up a Sage TXL 3wt 7'10" a month or so ago. Great small stream rod. Thinking about building a 10' 4wt this winter for nymphing and fishing open water.

I've got a 7' 4wt bamboo blank (****erson 7012) and a Gatti 9' 5wt and Gatti 9'6" 6 Wt to build this winter.

I'd like to build a 10' 9 wt. this Winter. (4 piece)

I do some fishing on Canadian lakes for pike (well, really any predatory fish that wants to hit my fly) and Seneca Lake.

I have fished with a 6wt and did okay, but really want to throw some line, especially on the windy days.

I have a spare spool for a reel and was thinking of putting a 7 wt line on it.


The only problem is this isn't a common blank size (especially in the cheaper manufacturers).
I have seen some, but just haven't pulled the trigger yet.
