I am new to the forum but have been fishing for quite a while. Grew up in Indaiana County., PA but spent most of my adult life in Berks County, PA.
Work moved me to Hagerstown, MD in 1012 and as I am looking at retirement I am trying to buy a place near Carlisle. I have a burning need to get back to PA.
In my youth I spent a lot of time fishing western PA streams in as far east as Huntingdon. Spent time on Penns Creek at our hunting camp.
While in living in Berks County the majority of my fishing was on the Tulpehocken Creek and the Yellow Breeches, with the occasional trip back to Penns Creek.
While in Reading I lived about 1/2 mile from Blue Marsh, so I bought a bass boat and that has occupied a lot of my time for the last 15 years, but after fishing Spruce Creek with my Father and Brother I have been infected anew by the flyfishing bug. If all goes well I will be back in Central PA in the next couple of years.
