Welcome to the forum. How is the fishing in Cook Forest?
Depends on the time of year. In the fall, the fishing can be great both on the river and on some native streams. Thanks for the welcome.

Patroutfly, I should qualify what I said about the fishing on the Clarion. I fish mainly from Gravel lick to the dam in Clarion. From the launch at Mill Creek, which is just a few miles downstream from Gravel lick, the boat traffic can be heavy down to the dam. Below the dam is very good for most species. Between the Cooksburg bridge and Gravel lick is good. You have to get above the Forest most times during warm weather. Too many people playing. South of Mill Creek is all boats and jet skis to the dam. I hope to get up north more this year on the river and have a couple of float trips planned both up north and down to the mouth in Parker. Smallmouth fishing is incredible in the southern run.

Welcome! My wife's family has a camp on the clarion up river from Belltown! We regularly float that area and fish. Halton, and the section from Johnsonburg to Ridgeway. Hope to catch you out sometime!
