New C&R waters

Been a while since I’ve rummaged the boards but after a brief check I didn’t see anything about it. Anyone following the proposal for the new C&R water on Penns Creek? From Weikert bridge up to cherry run? Thoughts? Personally I’d rather see a slot limit than a more catch and release. Not saying all fish should be caught and killed, but most people seem to already practice catch and release so why change it over to strictly that? That stretch is a great opening day area that people have enjoyed for decades, and I’d say (from personal observation only) it doesn’t get hammered hard spin fishers after that. Or more specifically people catching and killing their limits. Also after talking to some people they think that water levels and temp will be an issue.

I know that what the state wants to do is what they’ll do but I’m just curious to see people’s thoughts.
