Nets

saw the nets at walmart the trout size with clear net looks very nice for the money at $20..

I always carry a net when fishing waters where big trout are possible. I like nets with big openings so I don't have any problems getting larger trout in them. I do like the clear rubber bags as I often trail a nymph off of a dry fly and often cloth mesh bags the dropper fly gets stuck in the cloth mesh. This is the net I use now.

My net is a "Wolf Moon Oxbow Model C&R" handcrafted in Wisconsin by Bill and Donna Kallner. It is entirely handmade of white ash and black walnut. Mine has the soft knotless nylon bag but is available with a clear rubber net. I purchased it about 4 or 5 years ago at Mconnell's Country Store Flyshop in Waterville, Pa. The price IMO was very reasonable considering the high quality of the product, if I remember correctly it was around $75.
