During a recent move, I lost all my fly tying tools. Bobbins, scissors, dubbing needles, hackle pliers, whip finishers, etc. Don't want to beat up on the misses too much, but I put them in a bag and now they are in a landfill. She thought it was a trash bag.

What I can't replace is the "old fashioned" whip finishers and the older style EZ-hackle pliers. I also have to find a smooth-jawed pliers for closing barbs and flattening nymphs (I put an underbody of dubbing, coat with flexment, over-wrap with dubbing and squeeze with pliers to give a flat, wide silhouette).

I also lost my wing burners, but Tigereye is helping me with that.
Any help would be appreciated.

Well, this is no good - like daVinci without a paintbrush.

Kirk - if you don't find what you need, I'll get it for you. PM me if I can help in any way, my friend. Sounds like a good excuse to get together and fish with you again. ;-)

Thanks Ed. Although I've had many setbacks in the past few years, my fishing/tying desire hasn't diminished. I'd like to get together sometime, and if you would like to fish a smaller stream with a good population of stream-bred browns, let me know.
