need easy wading area Loyalsock or Lycoming

Hello,

I need to find an area that has easy wading with some decent fly fishing in the Loyalsock or Lycoming creeks. I have limited mobility, I need to find a fishing spot where I can take a newbie and help him out.

I have not fished either of these creeks, but my son, the newbie lives in the area... I know nothing of these waters.

Go on lycoming creek above Powys curve. There's a road that follows the creek up to the trout run park. There is also a handicap accessible spot in trout run park

There's a spot or three near Hillsgrove that's flat, easy to walk into, and not too deep.

Also anything within one mile of the Forksville gas station ought to work well.

Ok... on Lycoming Creek... where is Powys curve? I cant find a reference to this. Can you give a little bit more info on this?

Go to AcmeMapper.com.

Put "Powys" into the search bar. It comes right up.

There is a big pool there at the bend.

You get off Route 15, and can park on the "old Route 15" road that is right along the stream.
