I'll be out in Missoula for a week. Staying on the Clarkfork right outside of Missoula plan on fishing it a decent amount. If anyone has any info or any places to fish id appreciate it

lot of good fishing in the area-don't get hung up on one river when others may be fishing far better. This time of year go high later in the fall big waters in the valleys may be the place..
Research first..

I`ve fished the Clark a dozen times or so, but 90% of the time was from a drift boat, fat rainbows, that's what you will be catching, cookie cutter 17-20 inch range, even if the water temp does get around 70 deg you will still have rising fish, stay on the water till dark the fishing gets good

Is this a planned fishing trip or a trip for something else, that will have some fishing included? Plenty of info out there. If you haven't done your research yet you better get on it! Stopping in a couple different shops and buying some flies/tippet and floatant will get you the current hot spots but its good to have a plan before you get out there.
