micro buggers

im willing to bet that top bugger could pass for an iso nymph if tied in the right color

I've always called the pattern mute posted a swimming nymph. I agree.

how much weight do you guys put on your micro buggers?

I tie/fish micro buggers quite a bit. I usually use them as an anchor fly (like a big split shot) on a dropper with other nymphs. I tie them with a dubbed body, a marabou or rabbit hair tail, with a bead and lead wire for weight. I like to tie them on a scud hook because the weight flips the fly around to ride point up in the water to prevent snags.
