Mentored Youth Day this Saturday: warm weather predicted

Actually a bit melancholy about it this morning! My boy aged out a couple years ago.

The good news is he's between two college choices for this fall with the May 1 deposit deadline looming. One is in the Lehigh Valley and the other is in Carlisle 😉

Well my son woke up with a bad sore throat and headache......milling around for a while to see if he feels up to going but so far looking like a bust.

Took my little brother out this morning and he caught and released few dozen including his first ever golden. Nobody else was catching that much but the creek was still insanely pressured. We released all of our fish, but it seems like once again all the goldens will be gone by the time opening day rolls around. I’m not in a position to complain since I participated in it but I’ve always had mixed feelings about youth day.
