Maiden creek

I'll be heading to lake ontelaunee spillway or maiden creek whichever it's called for the first time this Monday morning early. I was look for some advice and how wading is do I need my waders or can I just wet wade idk the depth of the area. I'll be taking the 6 wt for bass and also my 10 wt to maybe try for musky or pike. Thanks for the info!
