Another favorite wet. The maddie wet. Use when march browns and grey fox's are hatching. Easy to tie.

Hey, that's my fly, I have a box full of them.
 
That's a good looking tie, GenCon. It kind of reminds me a lot of a wet fly that I tie that I always referred to as a Hare's Ear soft hackle (but we all know that there is ton of variations of that fly). I'm sure that it is a very productive pattern for you.

That looks similar to my Gray Fox Emerger.
 
Thanks guys. The fly as I know it was designed to be used when march browns and grey foxes are active. Works other times as well.
Just a simple buggy fly.

Works all the time, also mistaken I believe for an emerging caddis.
 
Blueheron, that is a good point about a emerging caddis. To be honest I had not thought of that. Thanks for the tip.
