Loop Tackle

I stumbled across a website for Loop Fly Rods/Reels/etc. Anyone own any Loop products or used any of them before???

When I was working for LL Bean and doing a casting demo/class at the N.J. store, a guy with some former connection to something (distant memory) that I was involved with, was the or 'a' Loop rep. He let me cast one or 2 loop rods. I think one was a small, light rod. They were very nice.

One thing: Loop is one of the BEST names for a fly tackle company. Basically unrelated, but I wanted to say it.

LOOP was started by Goran Andersson after he left Sage. Great stuff.

Loop is huge in Europe. I was in the UK last summer and the amount of press Loop gets in the fly fishing magazines over there is immense. Very nice, if pricey, gear.

Look supports the aeg media guys too -- you know, the "trout bum diaries" moviemakers.
