Great stuff, great product. Just one question:

I'm done using it for today's tying, and there's no cap for it. Can I just leave the tip point on it and not have the glue harden in the bottle, or should I keep the piece of wire in the hole to guarantee it to work next time?

I guess my question is "will this stuff dry out exposed to air?"

No. It requires UV light to harden. Just put the white rubber cap back on it.

Also, just an FYI, using "Hard as Nails" on top of the UV glue will keep it from hazing and make it more durable.

Oh...I forgot about the white cap.

What is the saying about foolproof and bigger fools?

I'm not sure I've heard the saying about foolproof and bigger fools.

When I saw that white cap I thought "how much are they charging me to include a carburetor vacuum plug?".
