LL bean travel rod

Does anyone have any info. on a 9pc. 6wt. 9foot travel rod? Their current travel rod is a 8pc double L. I think this rod was made around 2002 or 2003. What kind of action will this rod have? I know that G Loomis made rods for LL Bean for awhile but i am not sure if this was one of them.Any input will be appreciated. Thanks

i had the 8 1/2 ' five weight.

i loved that rod,even though it was graphite. it was stolen out of my car,the thief had to move several bamboo and custom rods to get it.he left the more expensive rods.

i paired it with a bean orion reel,stolen at the same time.

the original case to the bean was stolen out of a truck with the rod not in it.

anyway,pretty sure it was an import,not a loomis.

it cast as well as most two piece rods. it really was an amazing rod for the money.

fit in a motorcycle saddlebag too.

Sorry to hear that your rod was stolen, that is interesting to hear that it cast like a 2pc. The tube that the rod goes in is like 15 inches long, that would fit a saddle bag or in a carry on luggage.This rod is a 6wt. I was concerned that all of those pieces would make it feel stiffer. I wish it was a 5wt. but I still might grab it. Thanks for the info..
