LL Bean 'Pocket Water'

Am looking for a sort of classical style click n pawl reel.

Found the LL Bean 'Pocket water' reel for only $89, thought it would be a nice cheap real that looks pretty decent and should have a nice sound.

Anyone have any opinions on LL Bean gear? Rods and reels specifically?

Was looking at there rods and they seem to be nicely priced as well, have not heard much talk about anyone using them though.

Just looking for some opinions..

My first rod and reel were a LL Bean Streamlight Rod and Reel. Liked them very much, well made. No experience with the pocket water but have read good things

I fish an older LLBean Streamlight 4/5 on both my 6'6" and 7'6" rods and I really like the reel. Its simple and reliable. Zero complaints. Im not sure how it compares to the Pocket Water, but that's my experience with LLBean gear.

Pflueger has rereleased the Medalist, which may be worth checking out too. Just some food for thought
