Local co-op nursery insider used to put them in a certain stretch (in his backyard) - I’m pretty sure it doesn’t happen anymore as it IS illegal … still, some weird fish do end up in this creek from time to time

I once caught a brookie, a rainbow and a brown in the same hole on the same day above the "Small S" upstream of Vince's Meadow.

The brown was wild...

The local kid's fish derby in Carlisle stocks them, or used to as the PFBC has curtailed ST fingerlings (we asked them to stop stocking browns in Letort some years ago).

Anyway, they are not uncommon in lower Letort and show up throughout the Connie watershed.
