While this doesn't have a whole lot to do with fly fishing, the lack of rain in the eastern part of the state (and others I'm sure) is starting to have some devastating effects, other than tough fishing conditions. Hoping everyone in the area stays safe and praying for some rain.

Here's a view from the top, about noon on Sunday. This is where I turned around. Lots of very dry grass was all around. BTW, the trail there is really nice -- someone with serious masonry skills has laid out rocks like a flat sidewalk.

There were several PA fires today. Most are caused by humans. It's dry, it's windy. It's pretty simple.
