I do that, and stretch them as well until straight. 30 minutes later & the curls are back. I'm no beginner, just wondering if there's a leader that is noticeable better in staying straight.Also a good trick to help straighten a curly leader is to use a piece of rubber to run the leader on. It will reduce the memory. They actually sell leader straighteners at most fly shops and can fit right on your keychain.
Would be for both/either or.is this for dry or wet applications.

Thanks, I need to look into that too !I'll second the furled leaders. Little if any memory and use them strictly for dries. Dress them with some floatant and you'll be just fine.
