I have lead wire. And have heard about lead foil/tape. Are their any other lead free options, besides split shot, that I could use to weight my flies. I have heard about lead free wire, and tungsten/plain bead heads are always good. I was thinking maybe a tungsten foil/tape? What's your opinion.

I sometimes use the tungsten putty they sell for weighting leaders to weigh my flies, but lead-free wire and a tungsten bead is usually all you'll need.

Lead free wire and a tungsten bead is a great combo

Make shure your tying materials are dyed with non toxic dyes also, before you polute the streams with your flies.
