I went Sunday also. It was my first FF show. I liked it alot. I found the semiar from Ozzie Ozefovich on the underwater world of trout to be very interesting. It's a real eye opener from the trout's eye persepctive. What other sport can you BS with some of the "superstars" and get some good info to boot? Bob Clouser really shows how to cast weighted flies without much effort at all. It was nice meeting Mike Heck at the show too. I will make sure I'm there next year.......I even got free parking in the lot becasue the machine wouldn't take my ticket and the attendant said "just go".

Ate one of the worst burgers I've ever had.!!

Me too!! I had one on Saturday. Probably my only gripe was the food that was at the concessions. Won't do that again! there's a subway right across from the street.

Ditto on the burgers, however I really enjoyed the show. I wasn't very social as I was vertical for the first time in 6 days and just starting to feel better.
I'm reading a lot of older books, right now Ed Koch's, Fishing the Midge. Nostalgia gets me, even though I've tied his patterns for years it was really an honor to watch Ed Shenk tie and listen to his stories. Also, enjoyed speaking with George Daniels and firandfeather. As others have said it never gets old watching these guys cast.
I definitely will attend again in the future.
