Materials, construction, lace system

In this case more $ doesn't = better product

How do you know? It didn't say much about those things on their website. Are you familiar with them. If so which ones do you recommend between the two. Thanks.

I have a pair of Korkers Metalhead boots, and I will never purchase another pair. The reason I purchased them in first place was because I liked the lace system. The lace system turned out to be the reason I despise them. They are convienent until they break which isn't hard to do trust me.

I've had the Metalheads for 2+ years. Best boots I've had and I have put them through the ringer... Off the beaches in Jersey, Montauk, and in the Yough. Plan on trying some of the aluminum bar soles this year. I always read about lace failure on the Boa system, but I have yet to have a problem, even when filled with sand.

I heard they upgraded the lace system at one time. Just wasn't sure when that may have been. Thanks for the replies.

Why did you choose the Metalheads and not the Chromes?
