I want my egg fly to ride point-up on a jig hook. However, an egg fly on a jig hook puts a lot of pretty thick material in the hook gap. Plus, there is the bead to sink the fly. I've looked over some hooks for my EuroEgg, (there were some from Firehole with a jig eye and very wide gap) but before I re-invent the wheel, I wanted to see what was the wizdym of the board is.

Best advice, is to tie sparcy.
Don't use mcfly yarn use glow yarn.
You could even tie the yarn loosely around a bead.

Maybe try estaz eggs on a jig hook?

I don't have any advice beyond that. I don't see a need for anything other than standard or curved shank hooks for egg flies. But I also almost exclusively tie my egg patterns unweighted.

any hook with a very wide gap + insta jig beads. Ive been using them with most of my perdigon patterns. Keeps as much of the bead out of the gap and forces the fly to turn over.

I'll second @Duriensbane advice. The beads are also sometimes called "inverting" or "offset". These type beads can make a normal hook ride point up, but can also be used on a jig hook where they won't interfere with the hook gap. My hook of choice for steelhead eggs is Fulling Mill Jigforce Short, it's a wide gap, short shank hook with a bit heavier wire.

I use a #14 FM5045, eggstasy, and slotted tungsten beads. The eggstasy is soft enough that I don't worry about it interfering with hookups and, like Albatross, I like these Fulling Mill jig hooks for their thicker wire and wide gape.
