Exactly! Not rocket science...I mean if you are fishing around areas that deep I doubt you are wading them.I imagine by using fish finder from a boat or kayak.

Was able to wrap up the year on some Schuylkill County water yesterday. The fish were feeding and it was a great day to be out!
Been dissecting that region the past week as well. Fishing certainly got easier when things warmed up and flows bumped. Tight line with perdigon or tiny jig streamer. And a little indicator fishing a tiny stream today.
caught a good number. I discovered one of my favorite winter holes was reshaped due to a downed tree upstream shifted the flow. The other winter lies I hit treated me well. Fewer people out than I thought I'd see.Did'ja nail em, Joe?
