I happened to be on Valley Creek in the Park not too long ago. I drove down to the Iron bridge and noticed for the first time that no parking was allowed. When did they do that? I'm not complaining, just wondering.

It's been like that since sometime in the spring. They want everybody to park in the paved lot up that gravel road.

It been that way for several months now ever since the new parking lot above there was completed. It is not really that much more inconvenient to walk back down to the bridge from the new lot.
If you park in the upper lot and want to fish more upstream, just follow the tree line in the back of the parking lot. There will be a trail that leads back down to the stream above the bridge. Saves a bit of time walking down the road.
