Having a full set of spinning rod guides put on a fly rod blank for winter fishing is not a brilliant idea.
Neither is buying a backup of the same size and make of your favorite rod as they will introduce the next stage of graphite thats stronger and lighter within a week.
Tying up boxes of your favorite sinking flies with twice as much lead as the store bought ones,so they sink faster,without field testing them first.
Thinking if the browns were really nailing perch colored streamers ONE day you needed to buy a gross.
So if others want to run around with stomach pumps and other gadgets,I understand the mentality since these only a few of my smart moves.lol
Oh,almost forgot the old timer at the Paradise who warned me of how the fish there would go wild for a fly and then cold fin them from then on.Hundreds and hundreds of 22 and 28 Jassids would show the old geezer who was smarter.[He was wiser,anyway]
