Thanks guys, lv2 nymph, actually the ice dub color is called pheasant tail. No flash, but I am not that good with camera. The closest they have to Peacock herl.
I was guessing that was where you had gone with that, I don't think it's you with a camera. I've noticed that just changing the angle of the camera or the light makes a difference. Hareline dubbing inc. makes ice dub in peacock.
Looks great. I have used peacock ice dub instead of herl on almost all flies that call for it the past couple months. Try it for the head on caddis patterns as well.
