I think I have the problem of being too cheap at times. Let me explain.
I separate, like most of you, my materials into different boxes or drawers. My "junk" drawer of chinelle, para post, yarn, swiss straw, etc has the most stuff in it. It costs $2-4 a card so it's not hard to just pick it up at the shop and not worry about spending too much money. Looking back, right now I would rather have 2 or 3 nicer dry fly necks for the equivelant of what I spent on all that "stuff". I use a lot of it, but hindsight is 50-50.
