Season’s Greetings

I’ve been a trout bum at heart since I was a young pup. After weathering decades as a small bussiness owner I’m happily retired and fishing hard. Looking forward to exchanging thoughts and ideas with folks.

Go State!

Welcome to Paflyfish. Port Matilda is a great part of the state for fly fishing.

Welcome to PAFF. Franklin finally called a good game when it mattered. Should be a good game next week.

Without divulging too much of your secerets what is your go-to stream up there in Centre? I plan to drag my fishing buddies up for a long weekend at Nature's Inn and we will be hitting the streams hard.

I’d recommend starting out at fishermen’s Paradise because they have portable restroom facilities for those of us with prostates the size of honeydews since whizzing in the bushes is a crime these days. Also for anyone in your party using assistive devices like walkers or canes they keep the grass pretty well trimmed around there and foot bridges make the stream crossable without wading. There are also many areas a handicapped angler can fish without too much trouble. The hot dog house is not far with very reasonable prices on good food for the angler on a fixed income. This is a big reason why myself and my fellow senior delinquents frequent this area.

Sounds like a great place for a bunch of senior delinquents 😉

If you get a dog from the Hot Dog House, be sure to ask them to deep fry it in the French fryer.
