How much more can I take?

I took a walk along Spring Creek today.

There was quite a bit of ice on the stream at Fishermans Paradise.

Not just a little bit along the edges, but frozen the whole way across in the slower stretches.

This bitter weather is getting old.
The wife has had a nasty cold since Christmas. And now, I'm starting to get sneezes and sniffles.
And the worse part - it's not supposed to break any time soon.
With the coldest air coming over the weekend, when they're forecasting subzero low temps.

We visited the in-laws yesterday, and had to drive across "dahn-tahn"
All three rivers are froze over now.
Haven't seen that for a few years.

You have to learn to be versatile! Get an auger, drill a hole, if you want to get fly fishing involved tie up some tungsten beadheads and get one of the reels that resemble a fly reel for ice fishing. This is the ONLY time of year I keep any fish! Panfish through the ice are the best tasting fish you can get!

When in Rome, Big John...Nice!

I have long since given away all my ice fishing stuff. Wish I still had it...

It's excellent whiskey-drinking weather.
