Those glass seed beads are probably 2mm beads and come in a bunch of colors.

Great pattern that can also be tied up with legs made from a few strands of Black Krystal Flash trimmed to size. These are quick and simple patterns that are also effective.

the brand of uv resin is really irrelevant as they all do the same basic function

it is up to each individual fly tyer to use what is appropriate for them to use

Sorry if I offended. I have no horse in this race, but the link I provided educated me a great deal on UV Resins and their use in building the ant bodies as well as streamer heads - where I used to use 5 minute epoxy and a rotary drying motor.

i'm just pointing out that there are other resins that can be used to accomplish the same effects

i've tried most of them and settled on the crystal uv resin because
it does what it says - tack free
