Any of you gents have any experience w/ fishing in Hilton head?

Booked a trip for the family @ the end of the summer and would love to get in two days of fishing. I’m gonna do some research on my own but any info to steer me in the right direction would be much appreciated. I’m more interested in exploring and doing it myself instead of a guide.

Thanks in advance

These are your folks to fish with: http://www.baystreetoutfitters.com/

A great redfish fishery. I'm going down in 2 weeks to fish cobia and redfish for 2 days. Ask for Tuck Scott. Great young guy that knows his stuff.

Palmetto dunes has kayak rentals for their inland lagoons lots of great fishable water in there.

Patrick c let me know how you make out. I want to do that next year.

Will do. The redfishing is fantastic down there. I have fished reds in Beaufort a few times. They just started offering the cobia trips the last 2 seasons. I'm geeked about it. Stripping streamers for 40-90lb fish will be awesome.

Yes cobia on the fly, particularly a popper would be awesome. I'll have to book a trip after you let me know ow it is.
