50 years ago was 1973. Many people understood the harm of stocking hatchery trout over wild trout long before that.

Time to get over this crap. The majority of those who fly fish could care less if the trout they catch are native or stocked. The pleasure we get from just being able to fly fish is all that is needed to enjoy the "sport".
