Gencon informed me of Mr. Weilenmann, and found his tying styles and techniques helpful for a beginner fly tyer. He has tons of videos that show different techniques that really helped me. Thought I'd share for others!

I like the way he ties in the hackle when he does a soft hackle pattern.

Tyger, yes Hans is a great tier. Ties very simplistic flies that just always look fishy.

It may be premature for my tying ability, but after watching some of his videos, it makes patterns not seem so difficult for me. Tried a couple deer hair emergers with the thread tag rib and I like how they look. Now I gotta try them on the stream.
