It looks pretty much like they increased the bottom release on Monday. The temperature dropped rapidly from above 70 down to below sixty at the same the flow increased by about 150 cfs (with no rain to account for an increase.)
Although I'm still not fearing for fish survival, it would have been nice if they had done this last Friday.
Judging from this video from today's news, I thinks it going to be a very different river when the water finally recedes:
Thanks, redietz! There have been some pop up heavy storms in my area so I figured that was what caused the bump on Monday. Did not catch that temp dropped at same time. Rain would have had opposite effect if it caused more to spill over.
