I camped there in late May a few years ago. Didn't fish the lake, but hiked around it. There were trout cruising near the surface in shaded areas near steep banks. You have to be a very good roll caster in those spots. Not sure how it has held up in this hot and dry summer, so just check your thermometer.

It's always cold enough for trout to survive. Always.
