Got out a few hours today.

Went out locally today for a few hours 3 fish and alot of leaves. But did enjoy a nice cigar when the fishing slowed down. Got them on san juan, and walts worm. Water was very clear and not very high.

First time real fall fishing for me today and I caught a ton of trees. In my first hour today I thought it was gonna be stella. You'd think Stagger would get it after the 3rd time BUT; each time I felt tension and weight on my fly, and realized it wasn't stuck on a rock/tree underH2O, I became a lil euphoric thinking I hooked a trout.

Reality set in by hour two.

Should have called it a skunked day, the 3 fish might have been 10 in long if all put togther. I traded the camera in at the truck for the cigar.
