Any recommendations for go to, must have flies for this time of year on the Lackawanna? What do you feel is the right size and method for the cold weather?

Dave

Wooly bugger or a sz 12/14 stonefly with a 18-22 zebra midge dropper

Go small w/ nymphs

Crane Fly and Caddis Larva are my favorites.

buggers, small black stones, small PTs, BWOs.

Check A&G website, go to fishing in NY & PA, then click river reports. Even in winter they update what's working on the Lack.

In season the best fly is a greeny worm.
