Glad I no longer fish Springton Dam

.... In Delaware County. I don't know what is washing into this once clear & beautiful water supply lake, but now it's neon green and looks putrid. Last year it was almost as bad, and by September it seriously stank horrible. Is this due to fertilizer and pesticides from the surrounding mega-house properties ? I can't imagine that the government authorities haven't noticed - its bad.

Sounds like algae bloom. Hot weather and fertilizer could be culprits. I'm not there and cannot be certain but that would be my first guess.
