From zero to hero yesterday

Sorry no full report, but this creek seems to get more posting every year (more details on that issue on my blog...). I had a very good winter day before the rain arrived. A few fish, including a 22 inch sucker, on the stonefly, but then ended with 4 decent fish on the streamer, including an 18 + and a slightly smaller one. Some fish porn before the holidays?

Every time I catch a sucker, I remind myself, "Yuh know what they say about suckers Dave: It takes one to catch one."

I find it to be a good sign when I catch a sucker or two. It tells me I'm fishing way down in the zone when I hook up with them.

Thanks, fellas. I agree that the sucker is not a bad thing, especially when they eat and you catch them on the mouth. It is also not a bad fight, granted for 5 to 7 seconds, one (run) and done, sort of like me in high school...
