Been looking at the forums for quite some time, but have recently decided to join. I’m really only familiar with fishing Conowingo and a few tributaries of the Susquehanna, but am looking to explore more PA water this year with my father. Looking to get into some panfish, smallmouth, and trout on the fly this year.

welcome. funny, i'm in Bucks County and wish i lived closer to your waters. conowingo for rockfish is kinda hard to beat.

In between trips to PA, you can try the Upper Patuxent in Hanover (behind the shops). My sons had some success there in the spring before the water got too warm. (One of the boys used to live near Fort Meade.) After the warmup, you can try to pull in some of the snakeheads that hang around in the slack water. I believe MD still stocks trout in there.
