I have to say, I've been waiting for years for this. Who else besides Bob Clouser can write the book on Smallmouth Bass fishing? (and yes, I know the other guy who did) The photography alone is worth the wait.
The book is geared toward a beginning fly fisher. However there are also tips for the intermediate fly fisher, with tips for distance casting and how to catch larger bass. All the sections benefit from Bob Clouser's simplified approach to fly fishing.
The photography is excellent! The section on bass prey and the imitations for those foods is outstanding. I bet you didn't realize how beautiful a chub can be in its spawning colors... well it is, and so is the clouser deep minnow in the colors that imitate it.
