I just had ankle surgery a couple weeks back and the doc said I have 6 more weeks off work. I would really like to work on my fly tying. Does anyone know of anywhere to get lessons? I live about 40 minutes north of Harrisburg.

Following is an internet site offering introductory instruction; http://kwsu.org/Offers/FlyTying.aspx

here is a good place to start. much more suited for beginners

The YouTube piece is nice, but there is nothing better than having someone give immediate feedback. I would suggest calling or emailing local shops, and if they don't offer classes, they may know of someone interested. You can also try a local TU Chapter, or other fishing clubs in your area.

Good luck!
