Is the llbean Angler II fly rod combo 5-6wt any good?

Not awful, but for $24 more you can get the Quest outfit.

You get a much nicer rod, better reel, good line, and a good rod case.

Very much worth the $24 price increase. It's gonna be tough to beat the quality of this outfit, and what you get for the money.

I have been using a 4 wt quest rod for a few years now on small streams. I love it. My ex wife bought for me and it is the only useful thing that she ever did .

I;m still new to the sport, but purchased a Quest outfit and it is one of my favorite rods. I have a 7' 6" four weight and it throws line like crazy and is tons of fun to fish.
